MAGIC OF MACY’S Macy's is much more than a retail department store, it's a pop culture icon–that’s the magic of Macy’s. I personally experienced the magic of Macy’s right out of college. My first job was in the executive management program at Macy’s and I was placed in the Herald Square flagship. Here, I came to understand that Macy’s transcended a retail experience and truly was an American icon. I never forgot that experience when I later oversaw the marketing for Macy’s. The work below represents different ways and mediums of how we created iconic moments for Macy’s beyond retail advertising.
